Nevern Show – Terms and Conditions

1. General

• By entering or attending the Nevern Show, all exhibitors, competitors, visitors, and trade stand holders agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

• The Nevern Show Committee reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person or exhibit not complying with these rules, or for any reason deemed necessary for the smooth and safe running of the event.

2. Entries

• All entries must be submitted on the official entry forms or via the online system by the specified closing date.

• Late entries may only be accepted at the discretion of the Committee and may be subject to an additional fee.

• Entry fees are non-refundable except in the event of the cancellation of the class or section by the organisers.

3. Judging & Prizes

• The judges’ decisions are final. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into regarding decisions or awards.

• The Show Committee reserves the right to alter or amalgamate classes or prizes should entry numbers be insufficient.

4. Exhibitor Responsibilities

• All exhibitors and competitors must ensure that their animals or exhibits are present in the designated area and ready for judging at the specified time.

• All livestock must be accompanied by the necessary documentation (movement orders, health declarations, etc.) and must comply with current DEFRA regulations.

• Exhibitors are responsible for the supervision, control, and welfare of their animals and property at all times.

5. Animal Welfare

• Any animal showing signs of illness or distress may be removed from the showground at the discretion of the Show Committee or Veterinary Officer.

• Cruelty or neglect towards animals will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

6. Health & Safety

• All persons must follow instructions from the Show organisers and stewards and adhere to all health and safety signage and protocols on site.

• Exhibitors are responsible for the safety of their equipment and are advised to ensure they have appropriate public liability insurance.

• The organisers accept no responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage to any persons, animals, or property at the show.

7. Trade Stands & Catering

• Trade stands must comply with all relevant legislation, including food hygiene, trading standards, and health and safety requirements.

• Trade stands must be set up in the designated areas only and may not encroach on walkways or other pitches.

8. Conduct

• All attendees are expected to behave respectfully and in the spirit of good sportsmanship and community.

• The Committee reserves the right to remove anyone behaving inappropriately or in breach of these terms and conditions.

9. Photography & Media

• By attending the event, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in any media, please inform the organisers.

10. Data Protection

• Personal data provided for entry and participation in the Nevern Show will be processed in accordance with UK data protection laws and used solely for the purposes of organising and administering the event.

11. Amendments & Cancellation

• The Show Committee reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, or to cancel or alter any part of the event, at their discretion and without prior notice.
